Acestea pot fi de ordin executiv, administrativ sau chiar legal. Importanta lor este covarsitoare si nu trebuiesc tratate cu neatentie. Cu toate acestea, mai exista si alte lucruri de luat in seama, care la prima vedere par mai subtile.</p>
<p>De exemplu, daca esti numit din interiorul organizatiei, ai nevoie sa treci printr-o <strong>schimbare de identitate profesionala care sa insoteasca schimbarea de rol</strong>. Iar aceasta schimbare trebuie facuta rapid si fara costuri colaterale mari, de cele mai multe ori neexistand posibilitatea de a creste firesc, in ritmul tau. Daca esti “vanat” din experiorul companiei si ai avut pana acum o pozitie in afara top management-ului, apar si alte presiuni legate de construirea relatiilor cu colegii, accesul la informatie, limitele decizionale care ti se impun si ariile de business pe care e nevoie sa le recuperezi din alunecarea lor catre ceilalti membrii ai board-ului de management.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.mihaistanescu.ro/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/baseball_bats_250x251.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-972" title="new leader" src="http://www.mihaistanescu.ro/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/baseball_bats_250x251-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>De fiecare data cand antrenez un top manager la inceputul carierei lui de membru in board-ul administrativ al unei companii, sunt realmente uimit de “candoarea” gandirii lui: parca se tine cu toata puterea de statutul lui de manager, chiar daca a acceptat de ceva vreme saltul calitativ al propriei functii. Pentru a preveni macar aceasta dezvoltare doar pe jumatate (rol fara identitatea asociata), am listat mai jos <strong>7 intrebari </strong>care pot structura un proces de inductie profesionala la acest nivel. Mai precis, va ofer mai multe variante ale fiecarei intrebari, cu scopul declarat de a putea fi adaptate la fiecare situatie specifica din aceasta tema:</p>

<li>Ai discutat cu CEO-ul sau GM-ul tau despre care este cea mai potrivita abordare pentru tine in noul rol de director? Ati stabilit macar 4-5 lucruri clare in privinta rolului si responsabilitatilor specifice de la acest nivel? Intelegi pe deplin cum functioneaza board-ul, la nivel de proceduri, cultura si luare a deciziilor?</li>
<li>Ce inseamna pentru tine sa fii director? Cum ii percepi pe colegii tai de pe acelasi nivel? Cum poti sa fii confortabil pe deplin cu noua ta identitate?</li>
<li>Ai discutat impactul noului tau rol cu fostii colegi si cu echipa ta? Care sunt asteptarile lor?</li>
<li>Cum iti schimbi modul in care acumulezi informatie relevanta? Ce reviste, ziare, articole sau canale TV vei urmari? Si la ce lucruri e nevoie sa fii mai atent, acum?</li>
<li>Ti-ai definit imaginea publica intr-un mod in care esti confortabil cu ea? La ce conferinte, intalniri si evenimente vei participa? Cu cine vei face networking si cum iti vei reprezenta organizatia?</li>
<li>Ce ai nevoie sa inveti rapid, ca si specialist in management? Care sunt abilitatile strategice care ti-ar conferi o prezenta sigura in board-ul companiei?</li>
<li>Ce schimbari aduce aceasta numire in celelalte parti ale vietii tale? Dincolo de bucuria promovarii, ce e nevoie sa faci diferit acasa, cu prietenii, cu fostii colegi, astfel incat acestia sa nu se simta exclusi din relatia cu tine?</li>
